After pickup from your hotel, head to Florida’s west coast aboard a comfortable coach limo. During the 90-minute bus ride, your driver will give you a brief introduction to everything you’ll find in Clearwater Beach.
When you arrive, you’ll receive a bagged lunch that you can bring with you as you tour the beachside. You’ll have 5-6 hours of free-time to explore the beach, take a stroll down Pier 60, browse the souvenir shops for a t-shirt or postcard, or simply relax with your toes in the soft, white sand.
Beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkeling gear and other watersports equipment can be rented from spots all along the beach. If you wish, upgrade your daytrip to include a speedboat ride aboard the Sea Screamer or go deep-sea fishing in the calm waters of Florida’s West Coast.
Explore the Gulf of Mexico on a wild and exciting one-hour ride aboard the Sea Screamer — one of the largest speedboats in America! Cruise past Clearwater Harbor and Sand Key Park on a 72-foot speed boat loaded with dual, twin-turbo engines. The Sea Screamer reaches speeds up to 35 miles (56 km) per hour. As you zip along the shoreline, look out for bottlenose dolphins that leap in and out of the wake.
Go on a 4 hour deep-sea fishing excursion in Clearwater Beach, Florida’s sport-fishing capital. During the trip your experienced captain will take you to some of his favorite secret fishing-spots in the Gulf of Mexico. Expect to catch a variety of reef fish including gray snapper, sea bass, tarpon, jacks and groupers. You have the option to catch and release or bring a cooler if you want to keep your catch!
